The “learning, education and training” meeting of the Erasmus+ KA2 project titled “Integration of Refugee Children toward Socio-Cultural Harmony”, coordinated by Prof. Dr. Metin KILIÇ, was hosted by Düzce University on 26-27-28 June 2024.

Since 2022, academicians and institution representatives from Maribor University (Slovenia), EureCons Förderagentur Gmbh (Germany), Spoluprácou Pre lepšiu Budúcnos (Slovakia), Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University, Disadvantaged Groups Understanding and Social Support Association (DEGDER) and Necmettin Erbakan University participated in the international project.

During the 3-day meeting, trainings were provided on innovative, modern and freely accessible educational materials developed in Turkey and EU countries at national and international level, examples of good practices were introduced, multiplier impact meetings were designed, and meaningful and long-term collaborations between institutions were planned by identifying international standardization of needs and requirements to solve the social cohesion problems of refugee students. At the closing of the project meeting, Prof. Dr. Metin KILIÇ presented certificates to the participants.
